KEEP IT IN THE FAMILY
1.Have the birthday child sit in front facing the guests who are sitting on the floor. Older children may prefer to sit around a table.
2. Have the birthday child pick out his/her animal skin first and then tell all the party guests that you need their help to make the Birthday child’s animal special. 3. Show the recording voice box up to the children and to RECORD hold the small black button down . This voice box can record up to 10 seconds simply by pressing this black inside button constantly down if you accidently release and hold down the button again the recording will from the second push. Trial and error will get the best result so do not worry if it takes a few times. |

4. Ask the children to sing Happy Birthday so that you can record it for the birthday child's animal. Press down the black button and do not release until finished .
5. Record the last 2 verses only i.e :"Happy Birthday dear______, Happy Birthday to you"
6. Now PRESS the white PLAY button to here the recording. Ask "Do you want to do it again even louder?" (yes)
7. Press the black recording button again and have them sing to the birthday child again. This will erase the first recording and record over it. 8. Press the PLAY button again and let them listen to the magic birthday recording . Once you are happy with the recording turn the top of the recording voice box around to cover the black button so it doesn't accidently record again. Then place the recording box inside the birthday child's animal (Preferably a hand, foot or the tummy. |

9. Next have the birthday child hand out all the animal skins. Be sure to hand out the animal skins pre-ordered by those party guests who RVSP first and then let the others pick from what is left over.
10. Now hand out the voice recording boxes and have the party guests record their very own messages. Another demonstration here on how to record is advisable and then assist as required with each Childs’s recording. Some of them might feel a little self conscious so show them a quiet part of the party venue to do it by themselves. Or they may just want all of their friends to help with the recording.
11. When everyone is happy get the children to turn the top of voice box round so the recording button can't be pressed again.
Now open the kits and take out the stuffing. Using the birthday child's animal skin as an example, hold it up and show the opening at the back, open the Velcro then undo the zip.
12. First place the recording voice box into the animal. Begin by stuffing the arms and legs first. Small amounts of stuffing work best. Use one or two fingers to poke the stuffing down to the end of the hands and feet. Next stuff the head and bottom and lastly the tummy, finally remind them all to push some stuffing up into the neck area to make it firm.
13. Remind them not to zip up yet.
14. Have them give the animal a squeeze to make sure it is firm enough and is it now ready for some special party magic?
15. Next have them hold the heart, close their eyes and make a special wish. Now give the heart a kiss and quickly put it in the animal before the magic wish wears off. 16. Now they can close the zipper. For younger children you can snip off the string so they can't open it again. For older ones they may want to change the recording message again so they can leave it on. Now show them how to close the Velcro cover. |

17. Next thing to do is hand out the birth certificates and to tell them to start thinking of a name for their very own new friend. This is great fun and encourage all the party guests to tell each other the name they have picked and watch the giggles. They can then fill out the details on their new friends very own birth certificate. REMEMBER all the guests will need a pen.
18. If you can get each party guest to also fill out on a piece of paper their own DOB and address before they go because Party Bear will then send them A very special Party Bear birthday card for their own birthday.
19. If they are having clothes now is the time to hand them out and dress them up. REMEMBER to tell the children to pull the little tails through the tail hole in the clothes.
20. Now hand out the carry cages and have the children put their new friends in ready to take home. They can put the heads through the hole so they can see and breathe.
